September’s Western Hospitality Award Presented to Toby Byrum

Please join us in congratulating September’s Western Hospitality Award winner, Toby Byrum of Nuts & Bolts, Inc. Mr. Byrum was nominated after deftly resolving an emergency situation for Keith Wilburn, a computer support technician at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Mr. Wilburn said, "One of our doctors was in the area conducting a medical seminar. In route to Jackson, the doctor’s laptop failed. It contained his only copy of the presentation. I spoke with Toby from Nuts & Bolts who immediately made me feel at ease and assured. On Friday afternoon, Nuts & Bolts was at the airport with a sign waiting for the doc to get off the plane. They took the laptop, performed diagnostics, recovered data and delivered the laptop back to Jackson Lake Lodge that Friday evening."

Mr. Wilburn continued, "Talk about customer service and hospitality! The service was above and beyond. It was not only the action, but the courteous, friendly attitude that impressed me the most."

About the Western Hospitality Award:
Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of the top vacation destinations in the United States and thrives on business that is brought into the valley during the summer and winter seasons. The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce’s Membership Committee has created an incentive program called the Western Hospitality Award in order to recognize exceptional Jackson area employees and to increase awareness of the importance of great customer service.

The Western Hospitality Award is given out once a month to an employee who has gone above and beyond their call of duty. Anyone who has had a fantastic experience with a Jackson employee should nominate that employee for this award. Nomination forms can be found throughout Jackson and on the front page of the Chamber’s website: http://members.jacksonholechamber.com. The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce presents the award in a mini-ceremony at the winning employee’s work establishment so that recognition may be received among coworkers, managers, customers, and surrounding businesses.
